Three Arameans elected in the Administration council of Mosul

Iraq (Mosul)- The first general election held in Iraq, has has resulted in the elections of three Arameans of different denominations in the council of Mosul. The following persons were elected:

1. The East-Aramean of the East-Syrian ,, Nestorian” Church, Father Lewis Sako
2.  The East-Aramean of the Chaldean Church, Mr. Safwat Aziz
3. The West-Aramean of the Syrian Orthodox Church; Mr. Sami Lallo

All the chosen persons are independent of any political party!
